After being called in to have your time with the doctor, your first orthodontic procedure will consist of an examination and discussion of potential treatment options. If this appointment is for a child, we will determine if and when would be the best time to start treatment.
Prior to treatment, there will be examination, Xrays such as orthopantomogram (OPG), lateral cephalogram. We also take impressions to enable fabrication of study models that act as part of the patient’s medical records and a representation of the mouth before treatment.
We will present you with all financial and contract options at the screening as well as any other referrals that are necessary, such as dental restorations and oral surgery. We will talk about your next appointment and options of starting that day if time permits. We want to be your dentists for all your teeth treatment and make this an outstanding experience for you and your family.
